Hi, my name is Oliver, but everyone calls me Ollie. I like laying by a warm fireplace with a good bone and policing the fence line. My younger years are a bit of a mystery to mom & dad, you see I grew up with another family and when they no longer wanted me they took me to the animal shelter. This same shelter takes fur-kids down to the local farmers market and walks them around letting people know they are up for adoption.
This is how I met my new mom & dad; see my mom and dad own Freckled Paws Biscuits & More and mom bakes all natural and organic dog treats. I must say they are quite delicious and good for me, I am such a lucky boy!
Okay, okay, back to the story! They take the biscuits down to the farmer’s market and sell them. One of their customers was looking at the picture that mom has on the table of my brothers & sisters (the quality control & taste testing department of the company) and said the shelter is walking around a dog that looks just like one of yours! My dad walked down and met me then went back to the table and told mom to bring me a biscuit and meet me. Mom gave me the biscuit and introduced herself to me, I gave her my paw to shake and as she tells everyone “I had her at hello”!
My dad went down to the shelter and filled out the proper paperwork and there I was, in the car on my way to my new “forever home” to meet the rest of my new family. P.S. I am now part of the quality control & taste testing department and I too am in the picture mom puts out on the table
